Nashad is used in the electronics industry as an engraver to make printed circuits and to aid in soldering. Ammonium chloride is used in agriculture as a source of nitrogen in fertilizers, which is mostly used for rice, wheat and legumes. Ammonium chloride is used in veterinary medicine to prevent urinary stones in goats, cattle and sheep. Ammonium chloride is used in the textile and leather industries in dyeing, tanning printed fabrics and cotton to shine. NH4Cl is used in plating. Ammonium chloride When ammonia is mixed with hydrated lime (calcium carbonate), ammonia gas is formed. Ammonium chloride is coated as a flux in the preparation of metals into tin. Nashad is used for fireworks and making explosives. Ammonium chloride is used as a systemic acidic agent in the treatment of metabolic alkalosis. Ammonium chloride can be found in dishwashing detergents and cosmetics (shampoo, hair dye and bleach). The most common use of ammonium chloride in dry cell batteries is as an electrolyte. It is used as a curing agent in formaldehyde-based adhesives.
